Eating:
- Formula swtich to Reguline was rough. She became very gassy and the constipation seemed to get worse. We've been on this formula for 16 days now and things are settling. She is pooping about 3 times a day and they are softer...like playdough. Gas has decreaed a bit. We are combating it with gas drops with most feedings. Dr. Bolton says a little grunting and firmness is ok, so we are sticking with this formula for now. Her eating has been up and down. She has been fussy during the day and we are suspecting maybe shes hungrier lately. She's been drinking about 4 oz every 3 hours. At night she is taking approx 2 bottles of 4 oz.
Sleeping:
- For about a week Kylie has been awake much of the day. Unfortunately she is usually fussy if awake. On the other hand she has been sleeping 4-6 hour stretches as night. Last night she slept 9PM-1:45AM and then 2:15AM - 7:30AM. Taking a four ounce bottle at 1:45 and 5 oz at 7:45AM. If she is sleeping during the day it's usually on the boppy or on me. She needs a lot of support to sleep during the day this past week. At night she sleeps in the rock n play and needs a lot of support to fall asleep initally.
She had her one month appointment last week. She stats:
Weight: 9 lbs 7 oz (52.2%ile)
Height: 22" (84.3%ile)
HC: 36.5cm (44.4%ile)
Misc: She is doing well with tummy time! Enjoying it more and more. She can lift her head up pretty well on her tummy and holds it steady when held sitting up. She focuses on people when they talk closely to her. Her eyes are still pretty crossed but better. We think she is getting close to smiling! She seems to be trying so hard!!!
Diapers: Finishing up newborns!
Clothes: Mostly 0-3 but some newborns still!
Eating: 4 oz every 3-4 hours. 1-2 bottles at night
Formula: Enfamil Reguline
Formula: Enfamil Reguline
Sleeping: Not much during the day unless in car or being held. 4-6 hour stretches as night.
Milestones: Getting close to smiling!
